TOWN PLANNING CRISIS

Uncontrolled Urbanization: A Growing Challenge:

Town planning is a solution for today's rising problem and developed and uncontrolled urbanization. Bigger cities like Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, Multan, Peshawar, etc., are facing this problem on a vigorous scale.

Lack of Zoning in Urban Areas:

There is no planning in building schools, commercial, and residential areas. For example, in Lahore, commercial and residential areas are mixed. There is nothing to differentiate between them. Schools and colleges are near to factories, which is much harmful for the students, and hospitals are also on the edge of destruction because of factories' pollution. The patient's health will not be improved; on the opposite side, they will face many kinds of respiratory disorders.

Proposed Solutions for Effective Town Planning:

There is only one solution to this problem: plan all the things, differentiate commercial and residential areas, and also avoid private transport, which also fosters the town planning system, and charge high fines on people who disobey the system of town planning.

Role of Government and Legal Enforcement:

Government institute regarding town planning 

The government should allocate the places for respective institutes like schools, colleges, hospitals, universities, and graveyards and keep an eagle eye on the system. If anyone breaks the rules, they should be punished in accordance with the law.

Conclusion: A Plea for Systematic Planning:

On the conclusion note it is a down-to-earth request to policymakers to make a system of planning for all kinds of areas and institutes. This also lowers the scale of crime in the country, and in this way, the country will become crime-free gradually.
